I am a licensed marriage and family therapist working with individual adults in my private practice in San Francisco, California.

My own history with an eating disorder and the journey of my personal recovery opened the path to my life's work - helping others. In addition to the personal aspect, I bring over 17 years professional experience as an eating disorders specialist skilled in food, weight, body image, compulsive exercise and general psychotherapy issues. I have expertise in a broad range of areas such as addiction recovery, relationship difficulties, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and self esteem problems.

Since many people struggle with more than one issue at the same time it is especially important that I have experience working with a wide range of clinical issues.

I am an interactive, solution-focused therapist. Therapy is centered on you and your unique needs as we build on your strengths, focus on solutions and develop new skills and insights. My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help you effectively address personal life struggles and challenge the limits that keep you stuck. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to your unique needs.

To provide you with additional support in your recovery, I am also a certified nutritional consultant with expertise in the eating disorder and addiction fields.
